What better way to experience your first ever concert than seeing Shakira live in Madrid? 
That's exactly what happened to our 8-year-old daughter, Maju, during a very special family weekend in October 2026. And trust us, it was a night we'll never forget!

We travelled from Barcelona to Madrid for Shakira's Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which featured a spectacular residency in the Spanish capital.

It was actually a first for all three of us! 
Maju had never attended a concert before, and neither Milena nor I had ever seen Shakira performing live.

We arrived a day early, giving us some time to explore Madrid before the big event.

On October 11, we headed to the concert venue early to explore the enormous entertainment complex created for Shakira's Madrid residency.

And there was plenty to discover!

From a museum dedicated to Shakira to themed experiences and even Macondito, a Disney space designed for children, the afternoon was already an adventure before the concert even started.

But nothing could compare to what came next!

The moment Shakira appeared, everything changed.

Maju was absolutely thrilled! At one point, she spotted Shakira passing by just a few steps away from us. And couldn't stop saying, "I saw her! I saw Shakira!"

Watching her excitement was easily one of the best parts of the night.

She sang along to songs she knew, including Dai Dai, and loved the incredible stage production, especially the giant wolf that appeared during the performance. As an animal lover, that was one of her favorite moments!

And to make the experience even more memorable, she managed to catch one of the special Shakira themed bills released during the show. A pretty cool souvenir from her very first concert!

We captured the excitement, the incredible concert atmosphere, and, most importantly, Maju's reactions throughout this unforgettable experience.

For us, this wasn't just about seeing a world-famous artist live. It was about sharing a special first experience as a family and creating memories that will stay with us for years.
